Get to know me

I was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama, attending Auburn City Schools from kindergarten through 10th grade. I am currently in the fall semester of my senior year of high school after transitioning to virtual learning and accelerating my academic plan to graduate one year early in May 2027. This transition has allowed me to dedicate more time to developing my career in photography, public relations, and digital media while gaining valuable professional experience.

The summer before my freshman year, I was offered a position at Auburn University as a Multimedia Technician. In this role, I produced a wide variety of digital media for college faculty, coordinated field trips and educational workshops for local high school students, and helped promote interest in forestry and natural resources among younger generations. I have since been promoted to Multimedia Coordinator for the Native Systems Restoration Lab, where I oversee multimedia production, lead communications initiatives, and produce photography and visual content that advances the lab's outreach and educational values.

I have also gained professional photography experience through an internship with Lauren Beasley, an established photographer in East Alabama who partners with numerous local businesses and organizations. During this internship, I expanded my technical photography skills, gained valuable client experience, and developed a stronger understanding of professional photography, branding, and business operations. Outside of my professional roles, I continue to develop my photography work through portrait sessions, event coverage, and other creative projects.

Building upon my communications experience, I will serve as a Public Relations Intern with the City of Auburn's Parks and Recreation Department beginning in Spring 2027. In this role, I will assist with departmental communications, develop social media content, capture photography and video, support program development, and assist with the planning and promotion of community events.

I plan to attend Auburn University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Beginning my freshman year, I also intend to pursue a Marketing and Communications Student Worker position within one of Auburn University's distinctive units should an appropriate opportunity become available. During my undergraduate studies, I aspire to serve in a leadership role for The Auburn Plainsman. Following the completion of my bachelor's degree, I intend to pursue a Master of Arts in Communication while serving as a graduate communications & marketing assistant.
